This Privacy Policy applies to our <Fishing Master> games and related services, collectively referred to hereinafter as "our Services". Your continued use of these Services after the Effective Date will be governed by our Privacy Policy, and we will notify you of any updates to the terms of this Privacy Policy in an appropriate manner when the version is updated. In addition, your use of our Services, and any dispute over privacy, is governed by this Privacy Policy and our User Service Agreement, including the applicable limitations on damages and dispute resolution.

1. Who is responsible for processing your data and how to contact us

 

In accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation 2016/679 ("GDPR") and any legislation in force, Fishing Master ("we" or "us" or "our") will be responsible as a data controller for any personal data processed by us.

 

If you have any questions or concerns about this Privacy Policy, including questions related to the exercise of any of your rights, please contact us through the game's "Settings Feedback" so that we can respond to you more quickly. 

 

2. What personal data we collect and why

 

We may obtain, use and process your personal data in different ways. In any case, we are committed to protecting your personal data. 

 

In each of the terms listed below, we will describe how we obtain your personal data and how we process it.

 

A - Data Sources 

 

We may obtain your personal data from the following sources:

 

a)    Directly from the Game; and/or

 

b)    From other entities, service providers (including data analytics providers, operating systems and internet service providers) who assist us in providing the Services to you.

 

B - Personal data that we collect and process 

 

We may collect the following categories of personal data relating to our users:

 

a)    Contact information (e.g., the name, nickname or email you use to register for our games or log in to the games)

 

b)    Data about the current game version, your account, game progress, and in-game events.

 

 

c)    Your IP address and unique mobile device identification number (e.g. your device ID, MAC address).  

 

 

d)    Data about your device, such as manufacturer, operating system, CPU, RAM, browser type, and language, current events.

 

 

e)    Rough location data (e.g. country/region or city level location).

 

 

f)    Precise geolocation data (GPS, with your consent).

 

 

g)    Usage data, such as cookie statements for data that we collect using cookies and similar technologies.

 

 

h)    Purchase history, including details of the order (purchase ID, amount spent, currency used, date, time, vouchers or offers used). 

 

 

i)    Data from the platform on which the game is running (e.g. verification of payment).

 

 

j)    Your email address and information you send to the Services (such as any feedback you submit about your experience with our Services); and/or

 

 

k)    Other data that you choose to provide to us.

 

 

C - Why do we collect your personal data?  

 

We may use your personal data to:

 

a)    Provide our products or services to you (such as experiencing our games and making online purchases);

 

 

b)    Establish and manage our relationship (including maintaining or servicing accounts, providing customer service, and personalizing your experience);             

 

 

c)    Exercising or defending against legal action;

 

 

d)    Understand how customers use or may use our products and services, verify or maintain the quality of our products and services and improve their security (ensure the confidentiality of personal data, prevent unauthorized access to and modification of our systems, and otherwise maintain the security of personal data);

 

 

e)    Provide advertising or marketing services, including through e-mail or other forms of electronic communication, to keep you informed about products, services and events that may be of interest to you.

 

 

If you object to our use of your personal data for the purposes described above, including direct marketing, please let us know via the contact details provided in section 1. 

 

If we use your e-mail to send you marketing information, we will obtain your prior consent (if required by law).

 

 

We do not knowingly collect or solicit personal information from or target or target interest-based advertising to persons under the age of 16, or knowingly allow such persons to use our services. If you are under 16, please do not send us your personal data, including your name, address, telephone number or email. Persons under the age of 16 must not provide any personal data. If we become aware that we have collected personal data from a child under the age of 16, we will delete such data as soon as possible. If you believe that we may have obtained any data from or have data about a child under the age of 16, please contact us.

 

 

D - How long do we retain your personal data? 

 

We will process your personal data strictly for the purposes for which it was collected and only for as long as is necessary to provide you with our services, unless we have a legal right or obligation to retain the data for a longer period of time or the data is necessary to bring, exercise or defend against legal proceedings.

 

 

3. Who we share your personal data with

 

We may disclose your information to organizations that provide services to us to ensure that they keep your personal data confidential in accordance with their contractual obligations and to comply with GDPR and other relevant data protection laws. 

 

We may share your information with the following types of service providers

 

a)    Technical support providers who help us with our IT infrastructure matters.

 

 

b)    Software development kits, including "software-as-a-service" solution providers, which host the relevant personal data on our behalf.

 

 

c)    Professional advisors, such as lawyers, accountants, tax advisors, auditors and insurance brokers. 

 

 

d)    Providers who can help us generate and collate views about our goods and services.

 

 

e)    Law enforcement agencies or government agencies.

We may disclose your personal data as required by law to investigate, prevent or take action regarding illegal activity, suspected fraud, intellectual property violations, situations involving potential threats to the physical safety of any person, violations of our terms and conditions or other agreements, or as required by law.

 

 

4. The transfer of personal data outside the EU/EEA

 

We may share your personal data with our affiliates and partners within the EU/EEA and outside the EU/EEA. If a data transfer outside the EU/EEA is not covered by a European Commission adequacy decision, we will carry out the data transfer in accordance with the lawful safeguards described in Article 46 of the General Data Protection Regulation. This primarily includes the standard contractual terms approved by the European Commission, which we strengthen with additional security measures (such as supplementary individual risk assessments, additional contractual safeguards and technical safeguards, including additional encryption or pseudonyms) for international transfers with our affiliates and partners outside of the EU/EEA. Please feel free to contact us via in-game means for more information about third country data transfers and our safeguards and additional security measures. 

 

We may share personal data with external suppliers, service providers or vendors that we employ to perform services or functions on our behalf and in accordance with our instructions. If such suppliers are located in the EU, we ensure that they are contractually obliged to comply with EU data protection regulations. We are also required to ensure in our contracts with such organizations that they process personal data only in accordance with our instructions in order to provide a consensual service and to protect the authenticity and confidentiality of your personal data entrusted to their care. 

 

We may also disclose personal data to our consultants, law enforcement and other public authorities (such as tax and social security authorities), police, prosecutors, courts and tribunals. All such recipients are responsible for complying with EU data protection regulations. 

 

If the European Commission does not recognize these providers as providing adequate protection for personal data, we will provide legal safeguards in accordance with the above.

5. Your rights under the GDPR 

 

You have the right to obtain information from us about how we process your personal data, to see a copy of all the personal data we hold, and to request that your personal data be corrected, amended or removed from our systems. You can also restrict or object to the processing of your data. 

 

We do not make any decisions based solely on automated processing (including analysis).

 

You may also revoke your consent at any time if you have given us consent to use your data, for example, so that we can send you marketing emails or display personalized advertisements. Please note that even if you revoke your consent, we may continue to rely on the consent you previously provided as the legal basis for processing your personal data before you revoke your consent.
